The rear wiper still works and responds to the switch, the windshield washer fluid pumps still respond but the front wipers no longer respond at all regardless of what position I turn the
The models with rain sensing wipers (all GT's) do not really have an intermittent setting. They have the "auto" setting then a lo and hi setting. Only models that don't have rain sensing wipers have an int position. You do need the sensor on the top of the windshield that you were describing for this feature to work.Step 6. Year, Model & Trim Level. 96 XL. December 2, 2007. #3. yes they are related if your wipers don't work the system "knows" that you have no use for the washer liquid check your relays and and check for voltage at the motor. Voltage at the motor and no worky, most likely means broken motor.
