The Hyundai forums are quite split here. According to them the Getz is notorious for having aircon problems. But no one really bothers to invest hundreds of bucks for an old car, so they just sell them and move on. The thing that bothers me a bit is the claim that the high pressure cut off at 150PSI is normal.

However, it has started vibrating badly especially when cold in the morning and gets a little better after warming up. To give an idea it vibrates so much at times
Disable hyundai getz alarm. To disable the alarm on a Hyundai Getz, you just need to bypass the hood switch. The alarm circuit thinks the hood is up and will not go into the Arm state. The switch connects the single wire connected to it to ground when the hood is up. So you can just connect a wire from the back of the switch to ground.
Fri 18 Nov 2005 12:48. Washer Jets - Hyundai Getz - JamZ. I have a problem in which the washer jets do not work. When I activate them I can hear the motor whirring a way but nothing comes out of any of them (even the rear one). For a while, they kind of half worked in that when first activated, a little squirt would come out but after that nothing.
